Matters of the Heart

Taking Charge of Heart Disease

A women’s healing and empowerment event focused on emotional wellness, sisterhood, and personal growth.

Join the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter, Concord Alumnae Chapter, and Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter as we partner with the American Heart Association for an important conversation about heart health in women. This virtual session will be led by Dr. David Smith and Dr. Cecile Miller Murray, who will share critical information to help women better understand, prevent, and manage heart disease.

This discussion will cover:

- Common risk factors for heart disease in women

- Recommended screenings and early detection

- Treatment and ongoing management options

- Lifestyle habits that support long-term heart health

All are invited to learn, ask questions, and take proactive steps toward protecting their heart.
